Dear Patients and Friends,
We at Clark Family Dentistry have been monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic closely, and have continued to operate under the Centers for Disease Control's Standard of Universal Precautions. We have also added extra measures to help ensure the safety of our patients and staff. After careful consideration and in concert with the recommendations of the CDC and the American Dental Association we feel it is in the best interest of our patients to limit appointments. All non-emergent appointments will be rescheduled until after March 29, 2020. This date is subject to change as new developments with COVID-19 arise and recommendations from the CDC and American Dental Association change. Read More

Clark Family Dental Patients,

We hope you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety. Governor Brown has lifted the restriction mandate for dental offices to see non-emergent patients starting May 01, 2020. We will begin seeing patients with limited appointments on 05/06/2020. Our new office hours will be Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Infection control has always been top priority for our practice. The safety of our patients, their families, our staff members, and the community is our top priority. We are following the CDC, American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, and OSHA guidelines and protocols for safely seeing patients in the practice. Additionally, we have gone beyond the safety guidelines to keep you safe during your appointment.

•  We have installed a new building air purification system and upgraded the air filtration system throughout the entire facility.
•  We have sanitation and disinfection protocols in place beyond what the minimum requirements are. This includes additional PPE (discarded or changed between patients). Disinfecting all contact surfaces in the building with hospital grade disinfectants every hour or upon contact.
•  All patients will be health screened prior to appointment, wear face coverings, and their sanitize hands.
•  We have changed our patient flow and schedule to help maintain social distancing.
•  We have installed sneeze guard sanitation barriers at our front desk area.

New appointment protocols and information:
PLEASE DRESS WARMLY AS OUR OFFICE WILL BE AT A COOLER TEMPERATURE TO ALLOW PROVIDERS TO WORK WITH ADDITIONAL PPE.
PLEASE ARRIVE 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME.
APPOINTMENTS WILL BE LONGER FOR THE FIRST SEVERAL WEEKS.

Arriving at the office:
1.  When you arrive for your appointment please stay in your car and call the office to check in. Office #541-548-3896
2.  A team member will call you with a health screening when we are ready for your appointment.
3.  Upon entry in the building please wear a face covering.
4.  Only the patient is allowed to come to the appointment. If you have a child as the patient, 1 parent may come, no siblings (the parent will have the same screenings and protocols on arrival).
5.  At the door you will be greeted, temperature taken, hands and wrists sanitized, and walked back to your appointment.
6.  Once your hands are sanitized do not touch your eyes, nose, mouth, or face.
7.  Please practice social distancing where needed.
8.  We will try to reduce paper transactions and will happily fax or email your receipts upon your request.

REMEMBER: IF YOU HAVE A FEVER, SHORTNESS OF BREATH, DIFFICULTY BREATHING, SORE THROAT, HEADACHE, COUGH, CHILLS, MUSCLE ACHES, OR LOSS OF SMELL OR TASTE, OR HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE ILL WITHIN 14 DAYS PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE TO RESCHEDULE.

We know all these changes will take a while to get used too, we are going to be learning to adjust as well.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we will be taking to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients.

Sincerely,
Dr. Clark and Team
